"Today we proved that we can play for each other.."
Vipers head coach say's "We came out with a positive plan that we executed perfectly. Today we proved that we can play for each other & I'm really excited for the Knock Out Cup game that takes place on the 12th October at our home, Cardinal Hume. This fixture we cannot become complacent & we must push to secure another win to advance in this competition. Our goal is gain promotion, cup success is a bonus but we stop for nothing.
"I have been very impressed with the lads, we have worked hard to get our chemistry where it is now & we have added a few additions in training players like Luke Hewson & Shay Bell. Shay was playing for Cardinal Hornets in the Central Venue League yesterday, he had a fantastic game alongside fellow Hornets graduate Tommy Thompson. I felt it was best for him to sit this one out as I didn't want to push him to hard.
"Luke is coming on leaps & bounds..."
"Today was a good time to get Luke in for some minutes, we had him playing through the third quarter with him showing us what he can do. Luke is coming on leaps & bounds & I'm very excited for what the future holds for him, its good to have a lad who has an open mind come on board in a very difficult league. I couldn't leave him behind as I know these are the games he is going to need to gain experience."
Next fixture for Vipers 1
